Making History Everyday! DuSable Museum Gathering & Dinner Out
This year, we'll be gathering at significant sites throughout Chicago and Durban, South Africa. Let's meet up at DuSable to learn, explore and celebrate African and African American Histories and Culture. We'll meet up at a local eatery afterwards for discussion, reflection and to share dinner.

About The Event
Did you know Jean Baptist Pointe Du Sable was the first non-indigenous settler and became the founder of Chicago? DuSable Museum of African American History is named after him. This year, The Gathering Chicago will host gatherings at significant sites throughout Chicago and Durban, South Africa where we will engage in learning, discovery and will share a time of prayer to follow.
Invite friends and family and let's meet up at DuSable Museum of African American History to learn, explore and celebrate African and African American Histories and Culture. We'll meet up at a local eatery afterwards for discussion, reflection and to share dinner.
We will gather and explore the museum from 3:30-5:00pm. However, be welcome to arrive earlier to fully explore the Museum yourself. We'll meet up at 3:30 and explore together from 3:30-5:00. Afterwards, we'll break bread at a local Chicago eatery to share reflections.
Admission to the Museum is $10 for adults, student discounts are available.
